Review: Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge

This was a great movie overall. It’s a breathe of fresh air. You have a new young, relatively unknown cast that did a great job of acting and meshing with the other personalities in the movie. It was directed very well. This move will keep you guessing what will happen next and laughing as the plot twists. It has the perfect mix of romance and comedy.
I would highly recommend this to anybody wanting to watch a good desi movie. The good news is it’s available on Netflix! So no need to visit uncle ji at the local desi grocery store for a copy. ;)

Review: Rockstar (Ranbir Kapoor & Nargis Fakhri)

What a waste of 3 hours.

This movie started off with some promise. The story line is relatively decent, but dragging it out for 3 hours was just torture. At about the half way mark somebody thought it would be a good idea to have about 5 songs back to back and they recap the whole storyline, then re-recap, then re-re-recap. Oh. My. God. At least in American movies if it’s terrible you just wasted 1.5 hours of your life. This took 3 hours of my life I will never get back.

PLEASE, BOLLYWOOD, LET’S KEEP THE 3 HOUR MOVIES TO JUST THE CLASSICS, NOT EVERY FREAKING MOVIE.

The one upside to the movie was Nargis Fakhri. She is definitely easy on the eyes. I believe she’s a model new to the acting scene.
